Our Services

We offer four main bike repair services here at Destination Bike, which we will explain in more detail below.

Basic Labour

Our basic labour service includes general tweaks and repairs as well as puncture repairs. We can also fit a multitude of parts such as tyres, lights, chains, etc. This service is available in half an hour and one hour slots.

Basic Service

A basic service covers an assessment and adjustment of brakes, drivetrain, steering and wheels. Any components that require replacement are fitted and the bike is fully lubricated.

Full Service

If you would like a full service then you will receive a:

● Full strip down and assessment

● Replacement of chain, brake cables, gear cables and any worn bearings

● Deep clean and reassembly

We recommend a full service once a year to keep your bike running like new.

Everything Else

We also offer bike builds, fully integrated cable routing and wheel truing.

Our new elite rider Jason Bouttell will be flying the flag for us and Team GB when he takes on the world's best this weekend!

Jason is an elite cross- country mountain bike rider who has just finished 5th at last week's National Championship and 2nd in the National Marathon MTB championship earlier this month.

He has achieved some excellent results in top level mountain bike racing and has been selected for the World Championships in Scotland in XCM.

We will be supplying him with our team kit and the new Wilier Urta Max SLR when it arrives as we continue to promote ourselves as the top UK dealer for Wilier Triestina.

Yes, you can now buy the tyre that dominated the Spring Classics including the Paris-Roubaix!
We have been testing the Corsa Pro tyres the past ten days and we are very impressed! There is a Corsa Control also available for slightly rougher road conditions. We have covered about 150 miles in a mixture of wet and dry roads and even a bit of time trialling!
They have a super supple ride, low rolling resistance and great puncture resistance. They look great too in tan wall with big sidewalls.
Being a Corsa I was expecting the downside of all the speed to be less puncture protection but not so. We even took them for some light off-roading!

They can be run as tubeless or clincher and sizes go up to 34C in the Corsa Control .

We had a visit from Johan Museeuw in April 2023 - the "Lion of Flanders"

Johan was one of the best Classics riders of his day,

often winning prestigious races such as the Tour of Flanders and Paris - Roubaix.

Also a former world road race champion he is definitely amongst the legends of the sport.

It was a great surprise to meet him and his friends mid ride when he stopped for a coffee.

We have been busy enhancing the look and layout of our shop this week. We have more stunning Wilier bikes on display including the all - new Granturismo SLR , Rave SLR, Garda and the stunning Filante SLR.

The new Granturismo SLR has the same ultra light carbon frameset as the top spec Wilier's but with endurance in mind for longer days in the saddle. Featuring the unique Actiflex 2 where the seat stays meat the top tube this bike is fast but super comfortable at the same time!

We have a corner dedicated to the Filante SLR models with different spec bikes on show. We have Velvet red, Admiral blue and Matt black models for you to admire and an I Ride green model is also due in soon. The Infinitamente custom colour chart is on display if you wished to make your Wilier more unique - this system is great for customizing and is here.
