CYCLO-CROSS - Also known simply as “'cross,” cyclo-cross involves riding a drop-bar bike very similar to a road bike over a relatively short racecourse featuring a combination of rough terrain—such as deep mud, sand, rocks and even snow.

We are experts in setting up a PERFECT cyclo-cross bike whether it's for racing, commuting, or just riding for fun.

We stock various tyres and tubulars for dialing in your grip levels on different terrains. As an offer this season we offer a free tubular fitting service with any pair sold! This takes the time and hassle out of the gluing process. We also fit individual tubular if needed.

Dugast is the leading brand in cotton and silk tubular tyres for cyclocross, track and road racing.

In 2002 André Dugast Retired and sold to Richard Nieuwhuis. While maintaining the legendary quality and exact manufacturing techniques learned from Mr. Dugast, Richard  immediately started to innovate.

Richard started to create his own moulds for treads – which Mr. Dugast never had. In the beginning he created the Typhoon and some track / road moulds. For MTB tubulars – these did not existed when Richard bought the company. He created – together with Thomas Frischknecht and his team – the MTB tubular, that had a lot of success among the top riders on the World Cup.

From a peak production of around 2500 tubulars produced yearly by Mr. Dugast when Richard bought the company, we now produce between 10,000 and 15,000 tubulars yearly.

If you would rather not go with tubulars, we also offer tubeless and clincher tyres.

Tubeless - A system where the tyre is bedded to the rim and sealed without the use of a inner tube. Sealent is then injected into the tyre, and any punctures you get will be sealed by the sealant.

Clincher - A system in which the tyres is inflated by an inner tube.
